South Asian Charity Event: How we promoted a party for a cause

On October 17, 2026 BridgeM supported Savaya Day Party, a South Asian charity event hosted by The Kundu Brothers on the penthouse rooftop at The Bogart House in Brooklyn. Every ticket went to Nepal relief.
1. Why we got involved:
The floods in Nepal hit close to home for our community. When DJ’s The Kundu Brothers turned a day party into a fundraiser, we immediately jumped on the opportunity to help with the content and promotions. Music brings people together. This time, it brought them together for something bigger.
2. How we promoted this South Asian Charity Event:
Two weeks, on Instagram only:
- We created the video content for all three acts: The Kundu Brothers, Nomad Nikz and SHNKR. We posted it as collabs with them, which put it in front of their combined 37K+ followers.
- A 30-second founder video on why we were doing it.
- Posts that led with the cause, not the lineup.
- Personal invites through DMs and group chats. (*most important for quick turnaround)
Result: 8,000 organic views in 14 days, from a 90-follower account. No ad spend.

The Day Of: From 2 to 6pm, The Kundu Brothers, Nomad Nikz and SHNKR played Afro house, tribal rhythms and global sounds. 82 people showed up. Great music, great people, a great place, a great cause.
3. What we learned:
- Make good content, and collaborate for more reach. We built the videos, and collab posts put them in front of 21K+ people we couldn’t have reached alone.
- Lead with the why. A USP/reason moves people before a lineup does.
- Ask personally. Posts build awareness. Direct invites get the yes.
- Keep it simple. One cause, one date, one ask.
