NYC TV Week, a premier event for the TV, Media, and Entertainment industry, consists of 3 conferences (Advanced Advertising Summit, Next TV Summit, Hispanic Television Summit) and an award ceremony (TV Week 40 Under 40). It took place from September 9th to 12th, 2024. As the social media managers for this prestigious event, our team played a pivotal role in amplifying its reach and engagement. The event is produced by Schramm Marketing Group.
Our primary objectives were to:
- Manage social media across LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram for over 60 days leading up to the event.
- Engage with speakers, honorees, and sponsors online.
- Provide live posting from the event.
- Boost event reach across social platforms.
- Increase social media followers.
To achieve these goals, we implemented a strategic approach that combined engaging content, consistent posting, and effective operations.
- Content: We recognized the importance of visually appealing content in capturing the essence of NYC TV Week. Therefore, we created an equal mix of images and videos for our posts, ensuring a well-rounded online experience. Leveraging historical data on user interactions, we carefully selected posting times to maximize reach on each platform.
- Live Posting – A Powerful Tool: One of our key strategies was live posting during the event sessions. By providing “key takeaways” from each session, we fostered conversations among the audience and speakers, significantly boosting reach and engagement.
- Behind-the-Scenes Operations: Beyond social media management, our team also managed the entire sponsorship lifecycle. From initial outreach to contract generation and on-site arrangements, we ensured a seamless experience for all sponsors.
